Good Evening Parents!

First and foremost, HAPPY NEW YEAR to those of you I haven't had the pleasure of speaking with or seeing at one of the many club swim meets held thus far this year!  For those of us in 'Swim Jail', 2026 has been absolutely bananas and we're just rounding out March!  

The 2026 Somerset Stingray summer swim registration will be opening April 1st and will run through April 30th.  I urge everyone to sign-up before regular registration closes as there is a late registration charge for anyone who misses this time frame and needs to signup between May 1st and May 15th.  

On April 26th from 1pm to 3pm, we will have our yearly orientation/information meeting for parents old and new at the Somerset Club House, 8884 Tintinhull LN, Waxhaw, NC.  This is a wonderful time to come and have all your questions answered and meet some of the folks involved in ensuring the season goes off without a hitch!  We will also have suit fittings for any swimmers looking to purchase a new team swimsuit.   

If anyone knows any outside families that live in neighborhoods that do not have a swim team and their kids would love to swim on a summer team, please do not hesitate to put them in contact with me.  Our outside swim families are an integral component of our swim team.   

If you have received this email but are no longer participating with the Somerset Stingrays, please accept my apology.  I wanted to ensure that all of my 2025 season parents as well as any new parents, were included in this communication.  

On that note, I hope you all had an absolutely wonderful weekend, and I look forward to seeing as many of you as possible in a few weeks to help ensure the kids have an amazing 2026 neighborhood swim season!
