Time
Practices:
Our swim season runs from mid-May until about the last day of June. While school is still in session, we hold after-school practices on Monday through Thursday.
After the school year ends, we transition to a morning practice schedule.
All age groups have practices on the days of swim meets and the day after a swim meet.
Swim Meets:
The summer swim meet season is condensed into 4 weeks, with meets almost every Monday and Thursday. At a Home meet, swimmers are expected to arrive by 5:00pm for warm-ups. The actual meet begins at 6pm and go until 10PM. Factors affecting the length of a swim meet are weather conditions and volunteer participation. Without volunteers, the meet cannot go on. Please note that this is a community involved event and parents are required to participate.
Attendance
Summer swim leagues are fun! We hope to foster a strong team environment. While we know everyone has different vacation schedules, as well as other commitments, we hope you will be able to attend as many practices, meets, and social events as possible.
It is not necessary to alert your coach if you are going to miss a scheduled practice. However, if you cannot attend a meet (or will arrive late/leave early), we ask that you submit this information.
Volunteering
Families are expected to work at the meets. We can't have swim meets without parent volunteers.
Each family is responsible for 3 volunteer spots per season. Starting with the 2024 season, if a parent is signed up to work a particular position and the parent fails to show or has not made arrangements to cover their shift, that parents child will not be allowed to swim the affected meet.

Refund Policy
Swim Families are entitled to a full refund minus the Stripe fees (cc fees automatically deducted) before the first day of official practice.
After the first day of practice and prior to the first meet, families are entitled to a refund minus the Stripe fees, cost of t-shirt and swim cap per swimmer.
If a family has not canceled prior to the first swim meet, they forfeit the refund.
