Good Morning Stingray Parents!

Tomorrow is our official first day of Swim Practice, and we are super excited to see all the new and returning faces! We will be going over some of the rules that are expected to be followed in order to get through the next 6 weeks. Tomorrow will also be the day we register for our Mock Meet on May 30th.    

The Mock Meet is a great first opportunity for most of us to experience some of the jobs we’ll be doing during the regular season. It starts at 8:00am and should wrap up by 10:30am. We’ll open the job signup at the same time.

New families especially — we strongly encourage you to sign up for a job. It’s one of the best ways to learn how everything works. Please note that if all necessary jobs aren’t filled by Thursday the 28th, we’ll assign them fairly based on registered swimmers (considering age group and years on the team).

Because our team is a bit smaller this year, I’ll also be reaching out soon to ask for volunteers for some additional meets so we can meet our home and away obligations.

To register for the Mock Meet, simply log into our website, select the mock meet, and declare your swimmer. You’ll use the same process for every meet. It’s highly recommended to declare your swimmer early for any meets you know you can attend — this helps you avoid missing declaration deadlines.
