Good Morning Stingrays!

Below are the details for our away meet against the Lawson Sailfish on Thursday, June 18th:

📍 Address: 2306 Lawson Dr., Waxhaw, NC 28173

Turn onto Lawson Dr. (main entrance) off Cuthbertson Rd. The pool is about a half mile down on the right. Look for the Mill House with the pool behind it — follow the sidewalk to the left of the Mill House, between the pond and the tennis courts, down to the gate.

🕒 Arrival & Warm-Up Schedule 

Lawson (home) warm-up: 5:00–5:20 PM 

Stingrays (away) warm-up: 5:25–5:45 PM 

Meet begins: Event 1, Heat 1 will start promptly by 6:00 PM

As the visiting team, we'll be set up on the far side of the competition pool deck. Lawson has a limited number of chairs available on our side, so please bring your own chairs to be safe.

🏊 Officials & Timers 

Timer & Official Meeting: 5:40 PM in front of the Guard Station, under the large awning. We switch our volunteers at the half immediately after the IM. If you have signed up for a position and did not fulfill it, you will be assigned to work a position at this meet ABSOLUTELY FREE OF CHARGE!

🚗 Parking 

Lawson's lot is limited and fills up fast. Watch for NO PARKING signs along Lawson Drive and the side roads — they're keeping cars off the grass. Street parking is allowed along Lawson Drive on either side of the 4-way stop. Please be respectful and cautious when parking on residential streets or in front of homes. We highly recommend carpooling or even walking if feasible.

🍴 Concessions 

Five Little Bird's Sandwich Truck and Junior's Scoop (sweet treats) will be on site. Lawson's Snack Shack will also be open during the meet with additional food, snacks, and drinks.

🏊 Pool & Clerk of Course 

Lawson's pool has 6 lanes, 25 meters in length, and it does have blocks. If your swimmer is not comfortable diving off the block, they can dive off the starting side. 

⚠️ Please Note Lawson has a zero-entry pool with water slides that will NOT be open during the meet. Please keep children out of the water at all times.

🎉 Theme This meet's theme is Red, White, and Blue! Feel free to join in with costumes, masks, etc.
